"No!"

I moved to a new neighborhood.

"No!" signs were everywhere!

My house was big.

So many "no" signs... but...

one "yes" sign!

"Yes, you can put up "No" signs!"

But on "No" Street, I say "yes!"

Especially when...

this question is asked: "Would you like some ice-cream?"

The No!
I Mean,
The Yes!
I Mean...

Buzz Buzz Buzz

a song

by Avalon Blumenthal                                                 Buzz, Buzz, Buzz

Buzz, buzz, buzz, buzz, buuuuzz
I do like nature, yes I do
Colors gleam and shine
The colors stand out from red to purple
From black to white
Nature nature’s colors

A bee buzzes: Buzz, buzz, buzz
The bee is yellow and black
Just like white and black
Colors are beautiful like blue and pink
The colors wink

Now the butterflies come
The monarch is orange
The ladybugs are red
And black - they have spots
Now I dance upon the willow tree
The bees are buzzing at me

I dip my hand in the pond
The water cools down
Now the pond all settles
And I go to sleep

Silkworms

My teacher, Ms. Cid, said I could take these silkworms home for the weekend. I get to feed them. They eat Mulberry leaves. They feel soft and squishy. I can't wait until they're bigger!

Treasure Girl

This is me when I was little. I really wanted to make a movie about a girl who loses her parents and finds treasures that lead the way. This video is one of the first movies I made. I wanted it to be called Treasure Girl because I like treasures and I wanted it to be about finding treasures, too. My dad videotaped and added the sounds.

My White Cat

A cinderella story

My White Cat
By
Avalon Blumenthal

Once in the forest I stood before a white cat.
She was an evil and magical cat! She forced me to be her servant.

This cat was to be served all the time. I was dressed in a golden servant’s dress. She now must get married.

I was always to smile at her. I served her when she was just a kitten. Now she is a powerful cat. She is white.

She will have the cat prince come over for dinner. I serve them fish all through the night. Soon the prince leaves.

He leaves with my white cat princess. They leave for a year. But while they are gone I do not get a break. I am ordered to clean the house spotless.

When they return they return with five filthy kittens. I clean them all. Then I get them all a golden crown. I serve all the kittens.

When the two cats die I must take care of the kittens. Soon they are cats ready to get married. I say: “This is not fair.” Then I run away to my village.

I call the zoo and soon the five cats are put in the zoo. Now I am free. I get married to nature. And I work for the nature that I want to work for.
I work and work. But I am always happy. And I only work for regular cats and kittens.

THE END!

Love is Part of Nature

It is important that we take care of nature. We can take care of nature by watering our plants and taking care of our animals. We need to try not to use our cars as much. If it's a little bit of a long distance we could ride a bike. The more we drive our cars, the more pollution goes into the air and when it goes into the air, it makes our planet hot. It is important that we love our plants and animals because if we don't love them than we will probably forget about them and we can't take care of them and there will be no love left.
